...goes the Easter Turtle!
One of the communities we are considering for buying a home hosted an Easter Eggstravaganza today, which included an Egg Hunt. Abby picked out this Reptilian Easter basket specifically for the Hunt and during the whole car ride there, we heard her saying, "hop, hop, hop" in the backseat and watched her turtle bouncing through the rear-view mirror. No amount of reasoning - including a turtle physiology lecture - would convince her that turtles generally do not hop!
For the 0-2 years old age group, the eggs were strewn on the ground (not hidden) to allow the babies to easily gather eggs. Abby LOVED filling her basket and ended up with 23 candy-filled eggs.
Despite heavy winds and a very, very crowded event, I think Abby had a lot of fun.
