This is the preschool gymnastics class. Abby has been doing gymnastics since she turned 2. Over a year and a half later, she still looks forward to going to the gym every Saturday morning.

Recently, the competition team girls began practicing during the preschool class. At first, they were a distraction for the younger boys and girls. However, you can tell how much they inspire the little ones now.

Water break

A sly one on the balance beam. When instructors are nearby, she feigns helplessness and needs a lot of assistance. If no one's around to help her, she jumps on and runs across the beam.

Ever since the first day of gymnastics the trampoline has been the hands-down favorite of Abby's.

We have learned that for preschoolers, stamps and stickers are the best rewards and the promise of getting one can motivate them to focus immediately. So, to gather all the kids for the end of class, the instructors shout, "Stamp Time!" and they all make a mad dash for the edge of the floor exercise mat, with hands place upon their heads, waiting for the stamp to come down the line.

Motivating. Challenging. Fun.
